🎨 Support the Arts, Support Your Community
Where Real People Revitalize Community Through Art
We know you’re getting hit with a lot of asks...
SO WHY GIVE TO WORKSHOP13?
Because we’re real people—artists, musicians, teachers, students, and volunteers—creating a sense of belonging and purpose in a community brought to life by art and expression.
WE ARE...
A retired teacher, brush in hand, building new skills, and making new friends.
A widower, heart on sleeve, finding a new tribe and a renewed sense of purpose as a volunteer.
A busy mom, clay on her hands, stress off her shoulders, smiling just for herself.
A teenager, guitar in hand, writing their first song.
A grandmother belting out a song to an audience in awe, proving it's never too late to shine.
Your gift makes all of this possible.
It keeps our spaces open, our programs affordable, and this creative community alive.
WAYS TO GIVE:
- Making a one-time donation on this page
- Becoming a Sustaining Member with a recurring monthly gift—there’s a level for every budget
Or better yet...do both, and don't forget your gift is tax-deductible!
Thank you for backing real people. Thank you for backing Workshop13.
Tax-Smart Ways to Give đź’ś
Want your gift to go even further? Here are a few “tax-smart” ways to support Workshop13:
Give Stock Instead of Cash
Got stocks or mutual funds that have gone up in value? You can donate them directly to Workshop13. In many cases, you can skip the capital gains tax on the growth and still get a charitable deduction if you itemize. Same support for us, better math for you.
Give from Your IRA (Age 70½+)
If you’re 70½ or older, you can give straight from your IRA to Workshop13. These gifts (often called Qualified Charitable Distributions or QCDs) can be tax-free, and if you’re 73+, they can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) too. Win-win.
Give Through Your Donor-Advised Fund
Have a Donor-Advised Fund at Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, or a community foundation? You can simply recommend a grant to Workshop13. It’s an easy way to put dollars you’ve already set aside for charity to work in our community.
NOTE: We’re arts people, not tax advisors. This is general info only—please check with your tax or financial advisor about what makes the most sense for you.
